The most important aspect for any community is to make its members happy. Every community wants it to be the best, as well as meet people’s needs. However, to do so, a community must first understand its members’ expectations. This is where you can provide new content.

What is the significance of feedback for new content?

Feedback allows you to better understand your members’ expectations, such as whether they are satisfied with the product and service, what they would like to see improved, and so on. Changes in content are easier to target as a result of this.

So, how do you solicit feedback? How do you know if you’re on the right track? There are numerous methods for gathering this information. In this article, we will discuss effective methods for gathering feedback and use it for new content.

Investigate the benefits of a group chat

One of the most popular methods of gathering feedback is through a Group Chat. Why is this the case? It’s simple to set up and use. If a member requires assistance, he can send a message directly to the chat room. His question will be answered by either an administrator or a member.

Members can send in their comments and suggestions for improving the product via a Group Chat. They are also more likely to stay in a Group Chat because they can talk to someone who will address their concerns. One of the most effective ways to gather feedback is through a Group Chat.

Follow these steps to start a Group Chat.

  1. Sign up for a RumbleTalk account on their website.
  2. Choose Group Chat as your chat.
  3. Navigate to Embed in your admin panel.
  4. Choose between embedding and floating (this is how the Group Chat would look like on your website).

Make a banner for your website that directs visitors to the Group Chat.

You will notice an increase in sales, traffic, and data gathered after creating a Group Chat, which you can use to improve your content.

Making quick polls

Surveys and polls are two commonly used feedback methods. To solicit feedback from logged-in members, the administrators can post polls in the Group Chat.

Polls are typically brief and time-consuming. Members will only choose from the options because there are already pre-made answers.

RumbleTalk makes it simple to create a poll. Here are the steps you must take.

  1. Click Settings > Polls in your admin panel.
  2. Choose Create new poll.
  3. Add a question and four pre-made answers from which your members can choose.

It’s really that simple! You can also start a poll right in the Group Chat. Simply click the gear icon (chat settings) and then Polls. Then, repeat the preceding steps.

Request feedback from your members

You can ask your members why they chose their replies now that you’ve used polls. Anyone can send a message in the Group Chat. Admin mode can be enabled if you are an administrator. In the meanwhile, use this to notify everyone in the chat that it will be used for polls and comments.

You can disable the chatters’ ability to send messages in admin mode. Only the administrators are permitted to speak. The admin mode can be activated directly in the chat settings.

Disable admin mode after issuing the notification and allow members to leave comments. You may learn more about their responses and what aspects of the community they would like to enhance by doing so.

Pay attention to what your members have to say

It is your responsibility to take whatever your member says in the chat room and their experience with your product/content in good faith. Any kind of feedback is a teaching opportunity. It’s a good way to increase overall community status and branding while also providing a better consumer experience.

You will be able to deliver results and impress your members if you listen to their woes. From there, you can create new content to bring their interest back.
