Wix is a customizable website builder. You can choose to create your own site with your own template or choose a template and change the elements. With this, Wix is a tool that you can use to create a membership chat.

Wix serves as a bridge to add elements to your website. How do you do that?

Membership chats are group chats that are focused on specific topics such as trading, games, movies, and more. It lets a specific group of people talk about that topic in an in-depth way. This is a must for every site.

A group chat is what makes a website unique. Along with other elements such as content and design, a group chat connects you and your audience.

In this blog, we wouldn’t be just talking about a simple membership chat that lets people talk. It’s a membership chat with the following:

  1. Export userbase email and
  2. Customization and design.

By having the above two features, you can create a website that’s both unique and with a wide audience reach.

A membership chat for your website

Before you can access the features you want, you’ll need to create a membership chat first. Now, as this is on Wix, I’ll share with you a simple tutorial on how to add a group chat.

Wix group chat installation

Embedding RumbleTalk group chat in Wix

It’s very simple and easy. Just add the RumbleTalk chat app (from the Wix app market) to your website.

Embedding RumbleTalk in Wix site using the app market

  • Log in to your Wix editor.
  • Click on the market sign.
  • Search RumbleTalk in the App Market and click Add to site.
  • Now you will see your group chat.

You can change the theme, change settings, create moderators, and change the chat language. Changing it to a membership chat can be done by changing your Chat type in the admin panel.

Exporting your userbase emails

In your admin panel, you will see the Users option. This shows the members of your group chat. The following can be seen:

  1. Username,
  2. Role,
  3. Date created, and
  4. Last login.

You can also create, update, and delete chat moderators and users in this area of your admin panel. The main focus here is exporting your userbase emails.

Exporting userbase emails is a tool that you can use to keep track of your users. If you’ve created/deleted users in the past, you can still download a CSV file to see their ids, usernames, emails, level of membership, etc. So, for any account, you can create a backup.

As the group chat owner, you can export the entire account details of every user of your group chat. This is usually done when you want to keep a backup of your users’ information. For instance, if you’ll be deleting multiple users, you can export the userbase emails.

This backup exports and provides the users’ information in a CSV format. This will only export users’ emails at that point in time. Previously deleted accounts will not be available so it’s best to do this before deleting users.

  1. Log in to your admin panel.
  2. Second, click Users.
  3. Then, select Export.
  4. It will automatically download the userbase emails in a CSV file.

How does this help your membership chat?

With a copy of your userbase emails, you can then send emails to the current and previous members of your group chat. You can send newsletters, notifications, or even minor and major updates to your website.

This makes your membership chat useful for conversations on your Wix site, and even outside it. Then, you and your followers are still connected through emails.

Market your website through the use of emails and your membership chat. All of this is made possible by exporting the userbase emails.

Membership chat made easy on your Wix site

As your Wix site is already easy with a pre-made template, adding a membership chat has never been easier! As long as you have this guide, you won’t be confused with complicated steps or set-ups.
